What is an old wallet and where does it come from?
Antique parefeuille is a hand-formed terracotta tile, historically used as a roofing element in traditional buildings. Native to the Gard department in southern France, the leaf guard is distinguished by its nuanced hues, ranging from pink to yellowwhich gives it a warm, authentic charm.
How are portfolios made?
The old parefeuilles were produced by hand, with know-how handed down from generation to generation. Made from clay, they were shaped in wooden molds before air-drying.
